Job Summary:
This position is a position for a Master's level clinician that is responsible for providing group therapy services in the Substance Use Program. Position requires the therapist have knowledge of mental health and substance abuse diagnoses and treatment per the DSM-5.

Qualifications:
Education:
Requires a Master's degree in the human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, counselor education, etc.), abide by a code of ethical and practice standards, and be committed to a process of lifetime knowledge and skills development.
Experience:
Have a minimum of two years of direct experience working with individuals with a substance use diagnosis. Experience working in an agency providing substance use services, preferred.
Certifications:
Florida Registered Licensure Intern for Mental Health Counselor or Clinical Social Worker Required
CAP(Certified Addictions Professional) preferred
Training:
Complete all PRC required trainings
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to make well-reasoned and ethical decisions regarding the assessment, care and treatment of individuals receiving services.
Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize conflicting demands.
Competence to provide clinical assessments, individual, group, and family therapy
Possess or have the ability to quickly master computer skills
Excellent documentation skills.
Knowledgeable of mental health and substance use diagnoses and treatment per the DSM 5.
Knowledgeable of co-existing disorders and treatment.

Work Environment:
The work environment is fast-paced and consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment. The populations cared for will include patients who are confused, delusional, irrational, agitated, or uncooperative. Most of the job is performed while sitting, although the work may require occasional standing or walking and/or the lifting and carrying of small objects. A small amount of travel may be required for meetings etc. to another PRC location.
