This is a position requires a Master's Degree in Nursing and must have graduated from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program, with specialty in Psychiatry. Must submit protocols with supervising physician(s) with the Board of Nursing. This position will primarily be outpatient psychiatric medication management work with adults, children and adolescents. This position also participates in inpatient unit coverage, providing on-call coverage, rounding and other unit coverage.

Education:

Experience:
Evidence of clinical experience & competency
Assessment and diagnostic skills commensurate with education
Experience of providing psychiatric medication management to adults and children.
Certifications:
Active and clear Florida License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
Protocols with a supervising physician with the Board of Nursing
Training:
Must meet all requirements for credentialing within the agency as well as maintain all state requirements to maintain licensure and/or credentialing.

Work Environment:
The work environment is fast-paced and consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment. The populations cared for will include patients who are confused, delusional, irrational, agitated, or uncooperative. Most of the work is performed while sitting, although the work may require occasional standing or walking and/or the lifting and carrying of small objects. A small amount of travel may be required for meetings, etc., to another PRC location.
